My Story
In 2019, I lost my brother Jacob to suicide, and two months later, my sister Alanna and her twin daughters in a car accident. This unimaginable tragedy left me struggling with profound grief and societal pressure to "be strong" for my parents and other remaining family members.
As a sibling griever, I felt invisible and isolated, even being told by my therapist that sibling loss isn't as severe as losing a child or spouse. This experience led me to become a grief coach, focusing on supporting other sibling grievers who feel alone in their pain, or are blatantly told that their loss matters less.
With training in spiritual companioning and grief coaching from the Creative Grief Studio, I now help sibling grievers validate their experiences, cope with trauma, and build lives that honor their loss while feeling safe and supported.
Thank you for being here, for reading my story, and for trusting me with your grief.
